Development of an Efficient Coal Winning Machine for Hard Coal Seam with a Minimum Mining Height of 1.1 Meters

Abstract：In order to solve the problems of low installed power and poor reliability of hard coal seam shearer with a minimum mining height of 1.1 m.The layout of the machine structure,the external circulating cooling system of the high power U-shape ranging arm and the traction system as well as drum loading were studied.An intelligent shearer with an installed power of 1050 kW,and suitable for mining of 1.1～1.4 m hard coal seam was developed.It can be provided for thin seam safety and high efficiency mining.
