The Application of Plunger Motor and Cycloidal Motor in Tunnel Drilling Machines

Abstract：The purpose is to solve the problem of selecting different types of hydraulic motors for the rotary of the existing full hydraulic tunnel drilling machines used in coal mine.Firstly,the characteristics of plunger motor and cycloidal motor were introduced,and then the theoretical calculation of hydraulic motor selection and the test data of gyrator test bench were analyzed.The results showed that the axial piston motor and cycloidal motor had little difference in speed and torque when output rated torque.However,under high speed and low torque operating conditions,axial piston motors had faster speed and greater adjustment range.In addition,the cycloidal motor rotary apparatus had a simpler reducer structure,and the manufacturing cost was lower.The practical significance of the research is to provide a reference for the selection of hydraulic motor for tunnel drilling machines,and improve the performance and efficiency of drilling machines.
