Abstract:A belt conveyor collaborative control system was designed to address the issues of low single machine control efficiency, multiple equipment, complex processes, low energy utilization efficiency, and poor collaborative control performance of belt conveyors. The system used ultrasonic load sensors to obtain real-time load height at the current position, and then used speed sensors to calculate the load distribution information of the conveyor.Capable of achieving centralized control operations such as coal flow start, reverse coal flow start, and coal flow stop. When the belt conveyor is running, the collaborative control system can monitor the coal distribution and load information of the conveyor, and adjust the operation at high, medium, low and idle speeds. The experiment showed that the collaborative control of reverse and forward coal flow start, coal flow stop, and emergency stop could both operate normally. The average daily speed control time of the belt conveyor was 192 minutes, which saved energy consumption within 20.03%of the production time of 16 hours per day.The coordinated economic operation of fast transportation was realized with more coal, slow transportation with less coal, and idle operation without coal.
