Mathematic Analysis MOSFET Loss and Calculation of Power in Power Converter
Abstract：In order to improve the performance of low voltage electrical power and electronic device＇ s switch units, a kind of switching circuit model of Power MOSFET is presented. Then the computational formula of the loss of Power MOSFET derives in the main circuit of the converter. The power loss of Power MOSFET is mainly constituted by conduction loss and switching loss. Based on the experimental waveforms the power losses of the Power MOSFET are calculated. The result indicates that when the switching frequency is higher, the switching loss is a maior part of the power losses of Power MOSFET.
