Parameterize Design of Straight Bevel Gear Based on Pro/E
Abstract：The parameterize design of the spherical involute straight bevel gear is studied in the environment of Pro/E. First, creates a 3D solid model of the straight bevel gear, and then reconstructs its parameterize model by means of related functions of Pro/E. Set up the main design parameters, and drives program by which a new 3D solid model of the designed straight bevel gear may be rapidly gained. It＇ s rather an effective method and offers help to optimization and digital machining.
