Abstract：On the basis of the experimental analysis results of the shallow ground water,the N. Mellow water－ quality index method has been adopted for the evaluation of shallow ground water in liangbaosi area . The possible impacts on the shallow ground water resource resulting from the development of the mining area have been briefly described and some prevention measures have been put forward in this paper,which can provide certain reference data for the using and protecting shallow ground water resource in the future course of the coal mining designing and protecting.
