Abstract:In order to improve the heat resistance of porous granular ANFO explosives,a thermal resistance mechanism analysis is conducted, leading to screen three additives. The effects of the three additives on the thermal stability of porous granular ANFO explosives are analyzed by experiments with thermogravimetric analyzer and oven. And,the effects on the explosive properties are also studied by detonation velocity tests. The results show that each of the three additives can improve the thermal stability of the porous granular ANFO explosives. The addition of ammonium formate, potassium sulfate, and acetamide at a mass fraction of 5%increases the activation energy of porous granular ANFO explosives by 6.16%,12.19%,and 17.86%,respectively,the effect of adding 5%acetamide is the best. The detonation velocities of porous granular ANFO explosives containing ammonium formate, potassium sulfate, and acetamide at a mass fraction of 5%are 2 856 m/s,2 744 m/s,and 1 904 m/s,respectively.The addition of ammonium formate has the least impact on the explosive performance of porous granular ANFO explosives.
