Study on lead block expansion test of electronic detonator with and without primary explosive

Abstract：According to the principle of the lead block method for explosive-detonation of power,cylindrical and spherical lead blocks are made.Experiment is conducted to test the expansion values of lead blocks for electronic detonators with and without primary explosive.Therefore,the feasibility of using specially designed cylindrical and spherical lead blocks to test the detonation explosion power is verified.The key factors affecting the accuracy of the method are studied,and the differences between the test results of the two kinds of electronic detonators with and without primary detonator are analyzed.Additionally,future research related to the expansion tests with cylindrical and spherical lead blocks are discussed.
