The Technology of Permeability Improvement in Shaft Coal Uncovering with Deep-hole Presplit Blasting

Abstract：The shaft coal seam is buried deeply, the gas outburst danger is high, and the traditional methods depend on drilling intensively to extraction gas, which expends more than half a year before shaft coal uncovering. In order to increase coal seam permeability, the high performance of water gel explosive grain were used to the test of deep-hole presplit blasting in the coal and rock interface. The results show that the net output and concentration of gas were improved after blasting, which provides an efficient way to uncover the coal seam in mine shaft safely.
