An on-line Inspecting Method for Packing Defection of Industrial Explosives

Abstract：Some kinds of defections are found inside the cartridged explosives in the packing processes of industrial explosives. It will depress the production quality of packing. An approach is presented in the paper for inspecting the defection of cartridged explosives and identifying using the machine vision technology. After preprocessing the images acquired from the real process, the cartridged explosives are located, and the defection feature is extracted, as well as the defections are computed. The experiments show that the proposed method can inspect the defection of cartridged explosives and satisfy the requirement of the packing line.
