Demolition Technology of the Temporary Supports for Box Girder
Abstract：Based on the structure characteristic of the temporary supports of box girder, the technology characteristic of the sulfer-mortar thermal-smelt method and the blasting method with pre-molded hole are analyzed. The sulfer-mortar thermal-smelt method is not so good which consumes more manpower and material resources, while control blasting demolition method can ensure the box girder structure integrity not being destroyed and the fragmentation effect of temporary supports is satisfactory and the demolition cycle is short.
