Study on Reducing the Crystallizing Point of Water-phase in Emulsion Explosive Using Surfactant
Abstract：The experiments studying the influence of surfactant and alcohol on the crystallizing point of water-phase in emulsion explosive have been conducted. The results show that some anionic surfactants can reduce the crystallizing point, alcohol alone has little influence on the crystallizing point, and the cooperation of ethylene glycol with anionic surfactant has good effect on reducing the crystallizing point. Moreover, the mechanism of reducing the crystallizing point using surfactant is also discussed, it is thought that the absorption of surfactant affects the crystallization behavior and then reduces the crystallizing point.
