Abstract:In order to accurately predict CH4 isothermal adsorption curve of coal at low temperature, the isothermal tests were done at different temperatures (-20,-10,0,10,20 ℃),which relied on high/low temperature adsorption experiment facility and used the sample of Ⅵ15-17 coal bed in Pingdingshan.Based on the uniqueness of adsorption characteristic curve in adsorption potential theory,in accordance with the experimental data at 20,10,0 ℃,the CH4 isothermal adsorption curves of coal at-10,-20 ℃ were predicted. The results showed that the predicted isothermal adsorption curves approximately agreed with reality isothermal adsorption curve, and the average relative error was 2.47% and 2.64%.
