Fast Outburst Elimination Technology by High-pressure Water Jet Cross-cut Coal Uncovering in Xin'an Coal Field and Its Application

Abstract：In order to solve the problem of high coal seam outburst danger,soft coal seam,poor permeability and difficulty in extraction in Xin'an Coal Field,a high-pressure water-jet technology for rapid eliminating outbust of cross-cut coal was proposed.By using high-pressure water-jet slotting technique,the high-efficiency and rapid gas drainage is realized in this area,and the application shows that the average gas extraction concentration is increased by 3 times,the average single-hole gas extraction volme increased by more than 5 times;the use of the technology can reduce the gas drainage borehole 82％,uncovering coal time reduced by 73％,saving production costs,ease the replace contradiction of mine pumping,mining.
