Research on Safe Distance of Soft Basement Dump in Open Pit Mine Based on SIGMA/W

Abstract：Taking soft basement dump of open pit mine in Inner Mongolia as a study case,we apply finite element analysis module SIGMA/W of GeoStudio to reveal deformation laws of surrounding ground surface under conditions of inclined basement and inverse inclined basement,different slope angle and slope height,and ultimately determine the reasonable safe distance.
