Study on Relation between Coal＇s Volatility and Initial Speed of Methane Emission
Abstract：On the basis of theoretical analysis of the relation between coal＇s volatility and the initial speed of methane emission,experiments were done to determine the initial speed of methane emission on different levels of volatility.The results showed that there is relation between coal＇s volatility and the initial speed of methane emission.The lower volatility was,namely the higher the degree of metamorphism was,the bigger the initial speed of methane emission was.
