Abstract:During the cycle of aqueous zinc ion battery,a series of problems such as dendrite growth and side reactions on the anode lead to low coulombic efficiency and short cycle life of the battery. In order to solve the above problems,Bi/Bi2O3 is coated on the zinc anode by doctor-blade method to prepare a high cycle stability and low cost Bi/Bi2O3@Zn anode. In the half battery test, the Bi/Bi2O3@Zn anode can stably perform 340 cycles at 0.5 mA·cm-2 current density, and the average coulombic efficiency can reach 98.28%.The assembled symmetrical battery can cycle stably for 740 h at a current density of 1 mA·cm-2 and a specific area capacity of 1 mAh·cm-2.In addition, the full battery assembled with Bi/Bi2O3@Zn showed better cycle performance than that of bare Zn.
