Abstract:A trapezoidal orthogonal stiffened steel plate shear wall(TSW)structure was proposed. The TSW model was created by using the finite element software ABAQUS.After verifying the accuracy of the finite element modeling method, the nonlinear pushover comparison and hysteretic performance comparison analysis of TSW and grid multi-ribbed steel plate shear wall(GSW)structure were carried out,and the parameter analysis of TSW was carried out.The results show that in the nonlinear pushover comparison under monotonic loads, compared with GSW,the initial stiffness, peak load and yield load of TSW increase by 9%,18%,and 26%,respectively.In the comparison of hysteresis performance under horizontal reciprocating loads, compared with GSW,the initial stiffness, yield load, peak load, and ductility of TSW increase by 9%,26%,16%,and 5%,respectively.The inhibitory effect of TSW on the out-of-plane deformation of steel plate shear wall is greater than that of GSW.The setting of trapezoidal stiffeners in the embedded steel plate can improve its premature overall buckling. The thickness and height of stiffeners can significantly improve the seismic performance of TSW,but the influence of the bottom width of stiffeners on TSW can be neglected. It is suggested that the thickness of stiffeners should be 6 mm and the height of stiffeners should not exceed 60 mm.
