Three Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Artificial ExcavatingVariable Cross-Section Pile
Abstract：Artificial excavating special pile is a new type of pile,it hasadvantages of both friction pile and belled pile,it uses the soil's bearing capacity fully .This paper analyzes its load transmission characteristics by three dimensional finite element analysis. The calculated results indicate that the special pile is more reasonable than regular friction pile and belled pile in load transmission .
