The Microstructure and Wear Resistance of HMn59-2-1-0.5Influenced by Various Cooled Techniques
Abstract：The microstructure, hardness and wear resistance of HMn59-2-1-0.5alloy with various cooling methed are studied. The result shows that the HMn59-2-1-0.5 alloy has high thermo-stability. After it is heated to 720℃ and held, then isothermally cooled in the oven of 200℃ for 1.5 to 2.5 hours, the percentage of α is less than 5% and the hardness is in the range of HB=168±8,thus fulfiling the requirement on microstructure and hardness. The wear resistance is better than that of imported material. So the alloy can fully satisfy the demand on properties of synchromeshing gear for car.
