Research on landslide early warning criteria based on improved tangent angle theory in Fushun East Open-pit Mine

Abstract:Fushun East Open-pit Mine is a typical soft rock slope open-pit coal mine with complex geological conditions. The slope rock mass is subject to long-term mining disturbance, weatheringand the influence of groundwater, which increases the risk of slope landslides. In order to reduce the harm caused by slope landslides, based on the improved tangent angle theory, the article draws on surface deformation monitoring data from the deformed area of the south slope of Fushun East Open-pit Mine.By analyzing the change law of displacement time curve, the article proposes a quantitative division standard to divide the accelerated deformation stage into three sub stages:initial accelerated deformation stage, medium accelerated deformation stage, and accelerated deformation stage, and the landslide early warning criteria for the corresponding T-t curve tangent angle α=65 °(initial accelerated deformation stage),for α=75°(moderate acceleration deformation stage)and α=82°(accelerated deformation stage. The results show that the deformation velocity calculated based on the tangent value multiple of the tangent angle can be used as the radar monitoring warning threshold for the slope of Fushun East Open-pit Mine, which can provide reference for the study of other types of landslide warning criteria.
