Abstract:To address the harmful effects and defects in traditional blasting methods for open-pit mining, the article presents gas-explosive combined blasting technology, monitors and analyzes the effect of blasting vibrations and characteristic of energy distribution. The results indicate that the vibration frequency of gas-explosion combined detonation is mainly in the mid low frequency range, and the vibration frequency shows the characteristics of fast high-frequency attenuation and relatively stable low-frequency during propagation. The duration of gas rock breaking energy is about one-third of that of explosive blasting, and the energy attenuation is stronger compared to explosive blasting. The combined detonation technology can save 3%to 11%of explosives, increase shoveling efficiency by 5.3%,reduce crushing energy consumption by 4.5%,and improve overall efficiency by an average of 5%,resulting in significant economic benefits. When conditions permit, the detonation method of"first rupture, then explosion"should be adopted as much as possible to reduce secondary disasters caused by blasting and achieve green, safe, and efficient construction.
