Study on slope deformation management in internal dump of Shengli East No.2 Open-pit Coal Mine

Abstract：In order to solve the deformation problem of the internal dump in an open-pit mine,this article takes the internal dump in Dadang Shengli East No.2 Open-pit Coal Mine as the research background,based on the theory of rigid body limit equilibrium,analyzes the slope stability of the internal dump,and takes the corresponding measures aiming at the existing risks,and verifies the slope stability under different foot pressing distances.The research results show that when the local status slope of+888-＋918 m platform in the internal dump reaches a toe depth of 40 m,the stability coefficient of the slope is 1.293,which meets the safety reserve coefficient and the slope is in a stable state.
