Research on transition mode of open-pit mining area from gently inclined coal seam to inclined coal seam

Abstract：In response to the transition problem from gently inclined coal seams to inclined coal seams in open-pit mining areas,taking Manglai Open-pit Coal Mine as the engineering background,based on the analysis of changes in coal seam dip angle,according to changes in coal seam occurrence,current production status of open-pit mines and on-site demand,three sets of two feasible transitional mining plans are set up for each mining area.Dynamic deduction is conducted for each turning plan,and a hierarchical optimization method is applied.Through comprehensive comparison and analysis of technical and economic key indicators,the optimal mining area transition scheme is determined.It is concluded that the optimal transition mode for this mining area transition scheme is the fan-shaped transition mode.The above optimization scheme ensures the smooth temporal and spatial connection of open-pit mining production,improves the utilization rate of internal dump,reduces the land acquisition for external dump,which creates more economic benefits for mining enterprises.
