Abstract:Taking west slope soft rock slope of Buzhaoba Open-pit Mine as the research object, combined with the relevant geological data,a three-dimensional model was established, and the strength reduction method was used to study the local step slip mechanism of west slope soft rock slope of the Buzhaoba Open-pit Mine using FLAC3D software.According to the comparative analysis of the monitoring data and rainfall data before the landslide, the cause of the deformation was further clarified. At the same time, the basic process of deformation and disposal of soft rock slope in the west slope of the open-pit mine is introduced. The results show that rainfall is the main inducing factor of the slope deformation, the deformation is mainly located in the shallow layer of the slope free surface, the stress distribution is basically parallel to the slope surface, and the tensile stress and compressive stress are concentrated at the top and foot of the slope respectively, which is a push-type deformation and is consistent with the actual deformation characteristics of trailing edge settlement and leading edge uplift.
