Abstract：Based on the geological survey and geotechnical testing in Pingshuo East Open-pit Mine, the article analyzes the failure mode of slope landslide, and systematically checks the slope stability of the key areas, grasps the stability of the slope, carries out landslide risk grade division on the slope according to slope stability coefficient, presents rational suggestions and measures to prevent the slope deformation and failure, which provide a theoretical basis for the safety production of open-pit mine.
