Belt conveyor slip protection system design

Abstract：The article analyzes the causes and effect of the belt slip in the process of transporting materials, presents the method of judging slipping fault by detecting the number of rotations of the driving drum and the reversing drum in combination with the actual production. The design method is mainly implemented by using existing PLC input and output modules and sensors. The slip protection system has the advantages of simple and reliable, alarm response time and adjustable accuracy, which provides a good reference for the design and modification of the belt conveyor slip protection system.
