Abstract:In view of the current ecological cost evaluation model limited to evaluate the mining value of open-pit mines, it is unable to optimize the scope of mining resources. Based on the ecological footprint theory, using the calculation method of ecological footprint and water footprint simultaneously, the article presents a marginal ecological cost model for open-pit mining.Combining with the examples, the article determines the method of open-pit mine recoverable resources based on marginal ecological cost model. The results show that this model can reasonably determine the open-pit mine recoverable resources scope and optimize the mining boundary.
