On-site monitoring and stability analysis of weak layers slope

Abstract：Sliding inclinometer has been used for two years to monitor the south end slope of the open-pit mine in Xinjiang. The south end slope has one weak layer, but as monitoring time goes, the development of subsequent weak layers is reflected in the monitoring data. The newly added weak layer is even more active than the first weak layer, the monitoring data well reflects the change from the single weak layer slope to the slope of two layers, which provides the data support for better controlling the stability of slope , the formulation and implementation of the follow-up slope management plan.
