Abstract：In order to solve the problems of mine heavy equipment standby state, the collision avoidance system, intercom system, and vehicle heating system auxiliary and other small instruments only relying on the battery for the car system power supply, resulting in a large decline in battery capacity caused by engine start difficult, the article studies from the super capacitor working principle, performance characteristics, designs a super capacitor for mining heavy equipment small instruments UPS. Through the super capacitor charging and discharge process control, the company achieves super capacitor circuit load on the uninterrupted power supply to ensure the mine heavy equipment the original vehicle battery life, also to ensure the equipment out rate.
