Application of eight-drive torque balance inverters of belt conveyor in the open-pit mine

Abstract：Taking the main dumping rock belt conveyor in East Open-pit Mine as an example, this article introduces a kind of torque balance control application strategy by using frequency converter, PLC and Profibus technology in long distance, multi drive, large power belt conveyor, and focuses on the analysis of the belt conveyor drive layout, control system hierarchical network structure, inverter vector control and grouping control between drives etc.
