Abstract：This article mainly introduces the structures and functions of the reactive power compensation system on P&H 4100XPC shovels used in Pingshuo Coal Mine, and illustrates the RPC system's reactive power detection, multi-level and rolling steps compensation, which will possibly offer some ideas for the electrical system design of relevant equipment and the equipments maintenance work.
