Feasibility research on the height increase of dump in Ha'erwusu Open-pit Mine

Abstract：In order to study the feasibility of height increase of the dump of Ha'erwusu Open-pit Mine, the mine carries out the supplement investigation for the engineering geology of dump basement, and determines the physical mechanics recommended indexes of the inner-dump slope rock mass. Using limit equilibrium principle to calculate the stability of the inner-dump slope at different stages, the article obtains the stability coefficients of four main positions, and researches the shame for the inner-dump height increasing combining with safety conditions.
