Abstract:Objective To retrieve, evaluate and summarize the relevant evidence on catheter management in pa‐tients undergoing catheter-directed thrombolysis for lower extremity deep vein thrombosis(DVT),and provide evidence-based basis for clinical standardized management of thrombolytic catheter. Methods Referring to the"6S"evidence pyr‐amid model system, the evidences of catheter management of patients with DVT in lower limbs in domestic and foreign da‐tabases were retrieved, including clinical decision-making,recommended practice, guidelines and expert consensus. The search period extended from the establishment of the databases to July 2024.Four researchers in the study team indepen‐dently evaluated the quality of the included literature, while three researchers extracted and summarized the evidence.Re-sults A total of 12 documents were included, consisting of 1 clinical decision,6 guidelines, and 5 expert consensus pa‐pers. In the five areas of proper catheter fixation, maintaining catheter patency, sterile procedures, prevention and man‐agement of catheter-related complications, and timely catheter removal,a total of 23 pieces of evidence were summarized. Conclusion This study summarizes the best available evidence for catheter management in patients undergoing catheter-directed thrombolysis for lower extremity DVT,providing a reference for standardizing the management of thrombolysis catheters by nursing staff.
