Research progress on the application of five-element music therapy in stroke patients

Abstract：Stroke is a disease with high incidence and disability rates,which seriously endangers human life and health.Five-element music therapy has unique advantages in the rehabilitation treatment of stroke.It can improve pa-tients'mood,enhance limb motor ability,promote language rehabilitation,alleviate cognitive impairment,and improve sleep quality.This article reviews the concept of five-element music therapy,the theoretical basis for treating stroke,the mechanism of action in stroke treatment,and its application status in stroke patients.The purpose is to promote its applica-tion in clinical practice,give play to its distinctive advantages,and improve clinical efficacy.
