Abstract：Gastrointestinal malignancies are among the most prevalent cancers globally.Illness perception serves as a critical determinant of patient health outcomes and quality of life,playing a significant role throughout the disease trajecto-ry of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies.This review aims to synthesize current knowledge on the concept,mea-surement tools,influencing factors,and intervention strategies related to illness perception in patients with gastrointestinal malignancies,thereby providing a theoretical and practical foundation for future research in this domain.
