Research progress on the application of digital technology empowerment in the management of predia-betes mellitus

Abstract：Prediabetes mellitus represents a critical window for preventing and managing type 2 diabetes mellitus.However,diagnostic criteria remain inconsistent,and the affected population in China is substantial.The deep integration of digital technology and medicine offers a new approach for the precision management of individuals with prediabetes melli-tus,incorporating multifaceted interventions such as diet,exercise,blood glucose monitoring,and cognitive behavioral therapy.This article reviews the background of technology empowerment interventions and their applications in the man-agement of prediabetes mellitus,provides recommendations,and aims to offer insights supporting management strategies for prediabetic mellitus patients in China.
