Abstract：Recent research has unveiled the diverse effects of Tripterygium wilfordii Hook.f.,including anti-inflam-matory,anti-oxidative stress,anti-thrombotic,anti-proliferative actions on vascular smooth muscle cells,lipid metabolism regulation,myocardial fibrosis improvement,and vascular remodeling alleviation.These findings underscore its potential for multi-target intervention in cardiovascular diseases.This review examines the inhibitory effects of Tripterygium wil-fordii Hook.f.and its active constituents on atherosclerotic plaque formation,myocardial ischemic injury improvement,and vascular remodeling delay,elucidating its comprehensive regulatory mechanisms.The aim is to offer theoretical under-pinning for the clinical application and further exploration of Tripterygium wilfordii Hook.f.in cardiovascular diseases.
