Abstract:Objective To analyze the mechanism of action of paeonol in cervical cancer treatment. Methods Pae-onol-related targets were screened through databases including TCMSP,PubChem,STITCH and BATMAN-TCM.Cervical cancer-related targets were identified using Gene Cards and OMIM databases, followed by screening for intersection tar-gets.A protein-protein interaction(PPI)network was constructed via STRING,and core targets were selected through to-pological analysis using Cytoscape.Gene Ontology(GO)functional enrichment analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analysis were performed using Xiantao Academic. Results A total of 109 paeonol-related targets and 1 372 cervical cancer-related targets were screened, with 28 potential anti-cervical cancer tar-gets obtained.PPI analysis identified core targets including AKT1,TNF,CASP3,and BCL2.GO functional enrichment analysis showed that paeonol primarily acts through processes such as transcription coactivator binding, outer membrane, and extrinsic apoptotic signaling pathway.KEGG pathway enrichment analysis involved the PI3K-AKT and NF-κB signal-ing pathways. Conclusion Paeonol may treat cervical cancercervical cancer by targeting and regulating AKT1,TNF,CASP3 and BCL2 to mediate the PI3K-AKT and NF-κB signaling pathways.
