Research progress on the current situation and prevention of pressure injury in elderly care institutions

Abstract：The incidence of pressure injury in elderly care institutions in China is high,which not only brings pain to patients,but also incurs high treatment costs.Prevention of pressure injury is greater than treatment.This study,based on relevant domestic and foreign literature,intends to review the epidemiology,risk factors,risk assessment,and prevention measures of stress injury in elderly care institutions,hoping to provide reference for caregivers and management in elderly care institutions to comprehensively understand and prevent pressure injury.
