Research progress on the mechanism of action on glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists in obesity cardiomyopathy

Abstract：Obesity is an important independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease,which can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease,long-term obesity can cause cardiac dysfunction,develop into obese cardiomyopathy,and in se-vere cases,it can lead to heart failure,so it is urgent to study safer and more effective treatments for obese cardiomyopa-thy.Recent studies based on obese people have shown that GLP-1 RA can effectively reduce the risk of cardiovascular dis-ease in obese patients,and may play a role in antioxidative stress,inhibition of inflammatory response,improvement of mi-crocirculatory dysfunction,and resistance to myocardial fibrosis.
