Abstract：INTRODUCTION Cardiovascular system involvement is an important determinant of long-term prognosis in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Aneurysmal dilatation of the aortic root combined with Stanford type A aortic dissection (TAAD) is a highly catastrophic complication in these patients.
