Treatment of canine gastric dilatation-volvulus syndrome

Abstract：Canine gastric dilatation-volvulus syndrome(GDV)is an acute condition that can lead to circulatory system energy failure and result in death in severe cases.Understanding its pathological mechanism,diagnostic procedures,and prognosis can provide a reference for improving the clinical cure rate.This article,based on relevant research and clinical data,analyzes the characteristics of canine GDV from the perspectives of etiology,pathological mechanism,imaging diagnosis,and laboratory indicators,and summarizes the emergency resuscitation,surgical,and postoperative monitoring plans,with the aim of providing a reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of related diseases.
