Abstract:An adult British Shorthair cat presented with symptoms including decreased appetite, lethargy, weakness in the hind limbs, weight loss, and occasional vomiting.Through clinical examination, blood tests,X-ray examination, and pathogen detection, the cat was diagnosed with a mixed infection of feline infectious peritonitis virus(FIPV)and chaphamaparvovirus(FeChPV).Treatment included intravenous fluid therapy combined with anti-inflammatory,anti-emetic,and other supportive symptomatic treatments, along with nucleoside analogs and hepatoprotective drugs. The cat showed significant improvement in mental state and appetite, and no recurrence was observed after recovery. This article analyzes the diagnosis and treatment of this case to provide a reference for the clinical management of mixed FIPV and FeChPV infections.
