Abstract:Tumors are one of the common surgical conditions in senior dogs.With advancements in veterinary medical technology,the detection rate of canine neoplasms has been increasing annually.Surgical resection has become a crucial approach to prolong survival and improve the prognosis of affected dogs.In recent years,progress in veterinary surgery and anesthesiology has brought new breakthroughs for canine tumor resection,such as the optimization of multimodal analgesia protocols and the widespread adoption of individualized anesthesia management strategies,which have significantly enhanced surgical safety and success rates.This article will systematically elaborate on the key aspects of anesthesia for canine tumor resection surgery,integrating clinical practice to provide veterinary practitioners with scientific and comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic references,thereby contributing to the further development of anesthesia for canine tumor resection surgery.
