Abstract:The experiment aimed to understand the carrying status of the VIM resistance gene(blaVIM)of 19 strains of Proteus mirabilis from chicken origin in the Liangshan area.19 experimental strains were selected for resuscitation and identification. The drug sensitivity of the experimental strains to six β-lactam antibiotics was detected by the disk method, and whether the identified experimental strains carried blaVIM was detected by polymerase chain reaction(PCR)and visual loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP).The results show that the resistance rates of 19 strains of Proteus miraceus from chicken to ampicillin, ceftriaxone, amtronam, imipenem, meropenem, and piperacillin-tazobactam were 100.0%(19/19),78.9%(15/19),10.5%(2/19),15.8%(3/19),0(0/19),and 0(0/19),respectively.None of the 19 experimental strains detected blaVIM by PCR or visual LAMP.Studies have shown that the β-lactam resistance phenotypes of 19 strains of Proteus mirabilis in the Liangshan area at present are not related to the VIM-type carbapenemase-mediated resistance mechanism.
