Abstract：With the implementation of policies such as the ban on antibiotic growth promoters in feed and the promotion of green veterinary drugs,microbially fermented traditional Chinese medicine has become an important means to replace antibiotics in the breeding industry.Through effects such as'enhancing efficacy,reducing toxicity,and modifying properties,'microbially fermented traditional Chinese medicine has become a vital tool for improving breeding efficiency and the quality of animal-derived products,ensuring the health of livestock and poultry,and achieving ecological farming.This article systematically reviews the research progress on the application of microbially fermented traditional Chinese medicine in livestock and poultry farming,aiming to provide references for its further promotion and application,and to advance the green and sustainable development of the livestock and poultry breeding industry.
