Abstract：Poria cocos polysaccharide is one of the main active components of Poria cocos,possessing various pharmacological effects such as hepatoprotective,anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,anti-tumor,and immunomodulatory activities.As a feed additive,it can promote animal growth and development,enhance antioxidant capacity and immune function,and improve intestinal barrier function.This article reviews and summarizes the research progress on the main pharmacological effects of Poria cocos polysaccharide and its application in livestock and poultry farming,aiming to provide references for its further development and application.
