Abstract:Brucellosis is a global zoonotic disease caused by Brucella infection and has been classified as a Category B infectious disease in China. This disease not only induces fever and multi-organ damage in patients but also leads to livestock abortion and infertility, thereby posing significant threats to public health security and the economic viability of animal husbandry.Consequently, establishing early and efficient detection methods is crucial for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.Currently, serological, immunological, and molecular biological approaches constitute the primary detection techniques. This review analyzes and compares the characteristics of various detection methods, aiming to provide insights for brucellosis prevention and diagnostic research.
