Abstract：With the advancement of breeding technologies,China has established a well-developed artificial insemination technology system for sika deer.Given its critical role in deer reproduction practices,this article systematically summarizes key technical aspects including insemination methods,timing protocols,and auxiliary techniques.It compares the operational principles and conception rates of three primary insemination approaches:rectal-vaginal fixation,speculum-assisted,and laparoscopic methods.The study further elucidates methodologies for determining optimal insemination timing and analyzes influencing factors.Additionally,it evaluates the application efficacy of various supporting technologies.This comprehensive review aims to provide practical references for improving artificial insemination practices in Chinese sika deer breeding.
